Frequently Asked Questions
Explore common questions about Aphranel®, its regenerative technology, and what to expect throughout the treatment journey.
The Poetics of Time is Aphranel’s regenerative aesthetic philosophy. It emphasizes working with time rather than against it through Immediate Shaping, Evolving Regeneration, and Controlled Degradation, supporting natural-looking outcomes that evolve harmoniously over time.
Aphranel® has obtained multiple international certifications, including European Union MDR Certification, China NMPA Class III Medical Device Approval, and Saudi Arabia SFDA MDMA Authorization.
No. The formulation does not contain residual chemical cross-linking agents. The gel carrier is designed to gradually biodegrade over time while maintaining product stability and performance.
The PCD-ETT® gel system is designed to provide smooth injectability, uniform microsphere distribution, and stable product placement. Its osmotic pressure is close to physiological conditions, helping improve injection comfort.
ACD-MT® is Aphranel®’s proprietary CaHA microsphere technology, developed to support progressive collagen regeneration and long-term tissue integration. Featuring a uniform particle size of approximately 30–35 μm, a raspberry-shaped porous surface, and a through-hole structure, the microspheres are designed to promote fibroblast activation and regenerative activity.
Each 1 mL of Aphranel® contains approximately 35 million CaHA microspheres, helping support dense and uniform collagen regeneration. As regenerated collagen gradually develops, aesthetic outcomes become increasingly integrated, balanced, and natural-looking over time.
Yes. Aphranel® is designed to deliver natural-looking results through a combination of immediate structural support and progressive collagen regeneration. The CMC gel carrier provides early contour enhancement, while CaHA microspheres gradually stimulate the body's natural regenerative processes. As newly regenerated collagen develops over time, aesthetic outcomes become increasingly integrated, balanced, and natural-looking.
Aphranel® is particularly suited for facial areas that require structural support and contour definition. Common treatment areas include the brow ridge, nose, pyriform aperture, chin, jawline, and other bony support zones. Through a combination of immediate structural support and progressive collagen regeneration, it helps create refined, natural-looking contours while supporting long-term tissue remodeling.
Results can be seen immediately following treatment due to the structural support provided by the CMC gel carrier. Over the following months, CaHA microspheres support progressive collagen regeneration, with Type III collagen increasing during the early regenerative phase and gradually remodeling into more mature Type I collagen.
While the carrier gel is typically resorbed within approximately 1–3 months, collagen regeneration continues over time and may reach peak development around 5–6 months. The CaHA microspheres gradually biodegrade and may be fully metabolized within approximately 12–15 months.
Even after the material has been metabolized, newly regenerated collagen may remain present, helping support natural-looking and long-lasting aesthetic outcomes.
Yes. Aphranel® is designed for complete biodegradation over time. Both the CaHA microspheres and CMC gel carrier are gradually metabolized within the body, supporting long-term tissue compatibility.
Aphranel® works through a dual-regeneration mechanism. The CMC gel carrier provides immediate structural support, while CaHA microspheres stimulate fibroblast activity and collagen regeneration over time. As the material gradually biodegrades, newly regenerated collagen helps support natural-looking results.
Aphranel® is a regenerative CaHA-based injectable filler designed to provide immediate structural support while supporting progressive collagen regeneration. Through its proprietary microsphere and gel technologies, it combines contour enhancement with long-term regenerative potential.
Aphranel® MagiCCrystal Novo is a regenerative CaHA (Calcium Hydroxyapatite)-based injectable filler designed for facial structural support, contour enhancement, and collagen regeneration. It combines immediate shaping capability with progressive regenerative benefits to support natural-looking and long-lasting aesthetic outcomes.
